Successful cycling test by the fourth graders in St. Georgen/Ybbsfelde

in St. Georgen/Ybbsfelde there was a special occasion for joy on October 16. The pupils of the fourth grades of the elementary school have successfully passed their cycling exam. This meant not only an exciting challenge for the 40 students, but also the first big step into the world of traffic safety.

Preparing for this important examination already started in class. Under the guidance of class teachers Beatrix Spreitz and Helga Köstler, the children not only learned the theoretical basics, but also practiced practical skills. This included typical traffic behavior such as shoulder views and hand signals, which they diligently trained with their parents. Such preparations are important in order to be able to act safely on traffic.

examination under real conditions

The practical exam took place on a specially defined route. This attributed the children from the senior citizen day to the volunteer fire brigade, along the Trieseneggerbach and on Unionstrasse. Officials from the St. Georgen/Ybbsfelde police inspection ensured the organization and compliance with the security standards, which took the exam trips. In addition, Helmut Scheidl, the chairman of the Öaab St. Georgen/Ybbsfelde, and his team positioned himself on the route to offer the students support.

The children were visibly excited, but also well prepared, which was reflected in their excellent performance. All students were able to pass the cycling test with flying colors and can now look forward to their first driver's license. This is not only a personal success, but also an important contribution to safety in road traffic.

The mood after the exam was euphoric. Parents and teachers can be proud of the children's achievements, which not only know the rules of road traffic, but can also implement it. Further information on this event is here find.
