Amstetten, Österreich - On March 22, 2025, the Austrian winter throwing championships took place in the Amstetten Umdasch Stadium in Lower Austria. This was the fifth of these championships, which included the disciplines of javelin throw, discus and hammer throw. Bettina Weber from SVS Beaillance Athletics won with an excellent throwing distance of 59.61 meters. Leonie Moser (KSV Alutechnik) took second place with 52.46 meters and Christina Scheffauer (IAC) secured third place with 49.80 meters.

The results in the javelin throw were also remarkable. Noemi Luyer von Union St.Pölten won for women with 49.26 meters, followed by Chiara Schuler (TS Hörbranz) with 48.35 meters and viola Simmer (LCA Umdasch Amstetten), who achieved a personal best with 40.82 meters.

In the men, Roland Kalteis (UVB Purgstall) was the winner with 57.50 meters, a new best performance.
