Braco Radeljic shines with four medals at Masters Championships

After almost nine years of absence, the athlete Braco Radeljic reported back at the international competition of the Austrian Masters Championships in Amstetten with an impressive performance. The Croatian, who is currently lived in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, was able to win four medals, which he dedicated to his late sister Mirjana. She was an important support during his sporting career and always accompanied him in her heart.

The competition began for Radeljic with the 800-meter run, which he completed in a time of 2: 39.25 minutes and thus won the silver medal. This time was remarkable because it was three seconds faster than the current Styrian record. However, this record can only be recognized if the athlete has an Austrian passport. Less than four hours later after his first run, he started over the 5000 meters and secured the first gold with a time of 19: 55.69 minutes - and with a clear lead of about 75 seconds before the next competitor.

The following day he did not miss the opportunity to contest the 400 meters. In 74.80 seconds he was able to achieve the bronze medal here. But that was not all: just two hours later the 1500-meter run followed, his favorite discipline. Despite the previous three strenuous runs, he prevailed against the competition and won another gold with a time of 5: 18.73 minutes, which completed his impressive medal set.

The return of Braco Radeljic to the competition stage not only shows his impressive fitness, but also his unbroken ambition, which has accompanied him over the years. Within a short period of time, he has proven that he is still one of the best runners in his age group. A detailed article about his return and the championships can be found here .
