Advent in St. Agatha: A contemplative evening with Father Hans Schwarzl

On November 30th, a contemplative Advent evening will take place in the St. Agatha branch church in Eisenreichdornach near Amstetten. The event is organized by the Salesian parish of Amstetten Herz Jesus and the Preinsbach village renewal association. In the middle of the festive preparations, Father Hans Schwarzl invites the community to celebrate this special time together.

The origins of this special celebration go back to Maria Theuerkauf, who launched the event. The church itself, which is dated to the 9th century, is viewed by many as a "spiritual treasure sector" and offers a unique, atmospheric backdrop. The musical mood from the Preinbach group of Jagdhorn brass begins at 6 p.m. The service is enriched with the blessing of the Advent wreaths by Father Hans Schwarzl, and then an Agape invites you to end the evening together.

musical highlight and call for donations

The church choir Herz Jesus, who appears under the direction of Renate Eglseer, is responsible for the musical design of the evening. The performances of the choir will also delete the festive time match and further increase the anticipation to Advent. A special incentive for visitors is the proceeds of the event, which benefits directly to preserve the historic Agathakirche.

These events play an important role in keeping traditions alive and strengthening the joint connection. The fact that part of the proceeds from the Church benefits the commitment of the community to maintain its cultural and spiritual heritage.

The preparations are already in full swing, and the organizers expect a lively participation. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the pre -Christmas time in a special atmosphere and to exchange ideas with other parishioners. Such events not only strengthen cohesion, but also help to set the course for a peaceful Christmas.
