New residential paradise in Heiligeneich: 10 row houses and more!

Heiligeneich, Österreich - in Heiligeneich, market town of Atzenbrugg, the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Heiligeneich III” residential construction project took place on May 22, 2025. This project, which was initiated by Gedesag from Krems, aims to significantly expand the range of housing in the region. As part of the construction project, a total of 34 subsidized apartments and 10 row houses are created, all of which are offered for rent with a purchase option. Completion is planned for autumn 2026, which underlines the high demand for living space in the area.

The row houses will have a living space of approx. 106 m² and also contain an approx. 57 m² basement and a loggia. The 34 apartments are models with 2 to 4 rooms, the sizes of which vary between 57 and 85 m². Barrier -free elevator systems are provided for all units that ensure barrier -free accessibility. Furthermore, the apartments are equipped with loggias, while the ground floor apartments have their own gardens.

sustainability and infrastructure

A special focus on this project focus is on a resource -saving construction. The underground car park will help to make the land use efficiently. Other amenities include a children's playground that is supposed to give the youngest residents joy, as well as space for community activities. There are already numerous institutions such as schools, kindergartens, local suppliers and medical facilities in the region.

The Gedesag and the Mayor Beate Jilch (ÖVP) emphasize the high quality of construction and the sustainable construction of the project. It is assumed that young families and young adults in particular show great interest in the new apartments and row houses. The range of social residential projects is primarily shaped by the strict competition and selection processes, which ensure that only high-quality and needs-based solutions are implemented. This is in accordance with the approach of the Wohnberatung-wien.at, which are committed to creating environmentally friendly living space.

Gedesag will also ensure that all required quality requirements are met in this project in order to be recognized as a subsidized residential project. Access to funded apartments is particularly important, since the income herself for rental apartments is € 59,320 for one person and € 111,660 for four people, while the values for subsidized condominiums are correspondingly higher, as the current guidelines show.

With the implementation of "Heiligeneich III", not only the range of housing is expanded, but also a sustainable and life -friendly living environment that takes into account the needs of future residents. The good connection to public transport and the regional road network complete the offer.
