In an exciting game of fate, the Viennese Neudorfer team secured relegation in the 1st Bundesliga Lower Play-Off with a 4-2 home win against SGB Wels in table tennis. Despite Wojtek Kolodziejczyk being substituted due to injury during the previous game against Turnerschaft Innsbruck, where the team lost 2-4, the team showed remarkable fighting spirit. Martin Radel became the hero of the day by shining in both singles and doubles with his partner Chung-Ting Chueh and winning the decisive game against the Wels pairing Zillner/Böhm 3-2. “Our fans gave us great support - a thank you to the audience and the team for their irrepressible fighting spirit,” said chairman Franz Sellmeister proudly NOEN reported.
