Cancer diagnosis after toe injury: A British child fights bravely!
A shocking incident transformed the life of a British family into a nightmare. The two -year -old Zakariyah from Crawley was harmlessly injured his little toe when he pushed against a washing machine. But only a short time later instead of recovering, the toe of the little one turned out to be bluish and swollen. The concerned mother, Amina, brought him to the emergency room, where he initially received antibiotics. After another hospital visit and a blood test, the family received the shocking diagnosis: acute lymphatic leukemia (all), an aggressive form of blood cancer, which occurs especially in children and adolescents. As kosmo.at has been in medical treatment since then and will soon have to undergo several lumbar punctures and chemotherapy.
The fast treatment was essential because all is life -threatening without immediate intervention. The mother described the press: "If he hadn't injured himself to the toe, we would have learned about cancer at some point." The cancer in the bone marrow leads to overropholy of uncripulated white blood cells, which can bring numerous symptoms such as headaches, abdominal pain and shortness of breath. Despite the difficult diagnosis, Zakariyah shows remarkable bravery. "He is an inspiration for all of us," continues Amina, who describes her son as a happy personality who can laugh even in difficult times. In the meantime, the question of the causes of acute lymphoblastic leukemia remains largely unanswered, which makes the situation even more dramatic, as well as fr.de has documented.
