Barista dreaming from the latte art to state champion in Villach

in Villach, Alina Kirchner, a talented barista, has achieved a significant success: she became a state champion in Latte Art. This event not only marks a personal triumph for the 28-year-old, but is also a remarkable step in her career, which is characterized by determination and tireless ambition.

The way to the championship was anything but easy. After her first attempt at a Latte Art Contest 2019 in Tyrol, where she was a little beaten and discouraged, she even received advice from one of her role models that encouraged her to go in a different direction. Nevertheless, Kirchner decided not to give up her passion for the coffee art.

intensive preparation leads to success

to refine their skills, Kirchner was involved in a rigorous training program. In addition to her work in her own coffee bar, Coffee Beast, she invested numerous hours in the perfection of her art. "I worked in the café during the day and trained for competitions in the evening. It started with simple motifs, but I developed my own style," she says. Her effort paid off: At the state championships, which took place in Wels from November 15th to 17th, she was able to win first.

A particularly impressive motive that she created was a lion, inspired by a visit to Kenya, where she watched real lions in the wilderness. This personal element made her work unique and impressed the jurors.

international stage in the prospect

Her victory not only opened the door to national recognition, but also offers her the opportunity to represent Austria in June 2025 at the World Championship in Geneva. "I can hardly wait to show my passion on such an international platform. It will be an opportunity to learn more and develop me further," says Kirchner, looking forward to the upcoming challenges.

The support from the experienced Barista Tamara Nadolph, a four -time state champion in a similar discipline, was of great importance for Kirchner. Nadolph helped her with the preparations and gave valuable tips that helped her to develop her full potential.

The path that Alina Kirchner has contested so far is an impressive example of how perseverance and hard work can lead to success. It shows that it is worth fighting for its dreams, even if the circumstances do not appear to be cheap at first. Her story inspires many who themselves have the desire to grow in their passion and to find success. POSSING EVERSIONS in Geneva will show where this path will lead, and the coffee world can look forward to creative masterpieces.
