Kitchen fire in Villacher Multim parties: woman injured and saved
A woman was injured on Wednesday evening at a kitchen fire in the Untere Fellach district in Villach after a fire broke out of a pan with melted candle wax. At around 6.30 p.m., a concerned caller reported the smoke development and the flames that penetrated from a third floor of an multi -party house.
The fire brigade Villach's fire brigade, which hurried to the site, reacted quickly. Thanks to the rapid action of the home tenant, who managed to close the kitchen door before leaving her apartment, the smoke could be prevented from spreading to other parts of the house.
The injured was immediately cared for by the Red Cross and an emergency doctor and brought to the state hospital in Villach, where it was treated with an indefinite degree with injuries. The firefighters of the main fire station Villach were supported by the volunteer fire brigades Pogöriach and Fellach to control the flames. Using a thermal imaging camera, the emergency services carefully checked the apartment for possible embers, while an electric high -performance fan was used to transport the smoke out of the apartment.
The rapid and coordinated reaction of the fire brigade and the prudent actions of the tenant have prevented worse things, which could avoid damage to the apartment and injuries for other residents. This event shows the dangers that can be used by candle wax and improper treatment of open flames. Afterwards, security instructions are issued to avoid such incidents to clarify the population.
