Aunt Mina’s snack bar: Culinary highlights in the Althofen industrial park
In the Althofen industrial park, something delicious has happened: The new snack bar "Aunt Mina’s snack bar" opened its doors in August, and the fragrance is already attracting many visitors after freshly prepared food. Immediately in front of the recycling center, Martina Godt ensures culinary relaxation during the lunch break.
Martina Godt explains how the name "Aunt Mina" was created: "My godchild Elisabeth called me so much because she couldn't really pronounce 'Martina' at first." The idea of opening a snack bar had its roots in fun. About a year and a half ago, her husband, Thomas Leitgeb, acquired a plot of land in the South Industrial Park, where he built a locksmith. "He came up with the idea that we could offer him and his employees a good meal at lunchtime. A concept emerged from this moody remark. A container from Tyrol was converted into a modern, wholesome kitchen," says Martina Godt. She lives with her family in St. Veit.
diverse lunch menus
The menu in the "Aunt Mina’s snack bar" offers a wide selection of home -style dishes. Guests can choose between different lunch menus or enjoy their meals in the inviting garden. From 11 a.m., the team around Martina Godt serves pork roast with sauerkraut and dumplings, beef goulash with spaetzle or fascinated roast with potato puree. Each menu costs 9.50 euros and is served with a fresh salad. "We have other dishes on the list every week, but on Friday there is always the permanent court of baking. Our lunch menus are limited, so a pre -order is recommended," says Martina. In addition, other delicacies such as Bosna, currywurst, and Schnitzel are available every day.
The use of high -quality and regional products is particularly important to her. The vegetables come from the Flatnitzer vegetable garden, the sausages from the Pfandl butcher's shop. Poultry production also takes place through the Wech company. Sage and chilli grow in their raised beds, which they process into special teas and oils. Before Christmas, all sorts of cookies can also be ordered on pre -order.
