تم اكتشاف ستة من الجراء الكلاب في حافلة صغيرة بلغارية على A1 في النمسا العليا ، والتي تم تهريبها في ظل ظروف رهيبة. كانت الحيوانات الصغيرة مخبأة في بعض الأحيان بين الأثاث وبكيت معًا في صناديق صغيرة جدًا. تم نقل جرو إلى صناديق بلاستيكية ضيقة تم ربطها فقط مع الحبال.

صرح اثنان من ركاب الحافلة الصغيرة ، 24 و 28 عامًا من مقدونيا ، أنهم استقبلوا الجراء من صديق في بلغاريا لإحضارهما إلى ألمانيا إلى المشتري. في الطريق ، لم يكن للجراء ماء منذ الحدود الهنغارية. ادعى أحد السجناء أنه أمر الحيوانات بموقع رسمي لم يتم تسميته.
