Carinthian literature price: award for talents in the Musilhaus

The Festival Prize Conditions of the Biennal, lending, recently took place in the Klagenfurter Musilhaus. Gernot Ragger, Managing Director of the Wolf, led through the evening, while KSV President Alfred Woschitz initiated the award and the event with introductory words. Excerpts from the award -winning short texts were presented among the numerous guests, and the atmosphere was characterized by literary enthusiasm. The accompanying anthology "Finence" includes the works of all nominated authors and authors and is available from Wolf Verlag.

The talented writer Regina Klein received the first prize, whose impressive texts attract attention anyway in the literary scene. The laudation for Klein was held by the previous winner Sieglind Demus, who was also one of the big names of the evening. Eva Brislinger was also honored with a recognition award, while Johanna Egger was able to accept the coveted Newcomer Prize. The visit of Mayor Josef Jury from the artist city of Gmünd, who paid tribute to the event, was particularly remarkable.

Another highlight of the event was the award from Kristijan Missche from the Rosental, who received the prize of the Hermagoras/Mohorjeva publisher for his Slovenian text. This shows that not only German -language literature is honored, but also the Slovenian culture is the focus of the event. The longlist comprised a total of fifteen talented authors, all of whom are represented in the anthology "subtleties". These include Tatjana Gregoritsch, Elisabeth Hafner and Clemens Hofer, who each drew attention to themselves with their unique voices and perspectives.
