In the quiet city of Ferlach, at Sechterweg 8, a new wellness oasis recently opened: the Salz-Relax Salzgrotte. For many health experts, the healing effect of salt is undisputed. Numerous people now know about the advantages that a stay at the sea brings. Now the citizens of Ferlach can enjoy a similar experience right on the doorstep.

"A visit to the Salz-Relax Salzgrotte is synonymous with wellness and therapy at the same time," explains the owner Bernadett Valkai. Here the air is enriched by the natural evaporation of salt, which not only makes the room air salty, but also frees it from dust and irritants. It also looks antibacterial and anti -allergen. The positive effects include strengthening the immune system and relieving respiratory diseases. Patients can work here, among other things, on the end of ear, nose and throat diseases, colds or even skin diseases.

The grotto is aimed at both children and adults. One session takes around 60 minutes and Valkai recommends a series of five to ten visits to achieve the desired therapy effects. The prices are located at 22 euros for adults, while young people between 14 and 17 years pay 15 euros. For children who are only allowed to come accompanied by an adult, the costs amount to 30 euros for over six year olds and 27 euros for younger participants. There are also special cards, such as five or ten blocks, as well as annual tickets for regular visitors.
