The Italian airline Skyalps plans to serve Hanover Airport with two new flight connections from next year. This exciting news makes it possible for travelers in the Lower Saxony region to get to South Tyrol and Carinthia more easily. The first flight will be offered by both cities, Bozen and Klagenfurt from May 1, 2025.
According to a press release from the airline, the non-stop flights are carried out on Mondays and Thursdays. For the Bozen-Hannover flight, with flight number BQ 1980, the machine changes from Bolzano at 9:15 a.m. and ends up in Hanover at 11:15 a.m. The return flight from Hanover to Bozen, flight number BQ 1981, takes off at 4:50 p.m. and reaches Bolzano at 6:45 p.m.

The quiet turboprop aircraft of the type Dash-8 Q-400 are used for flights, which can hold up to 76 passengers. In the industry, the Q stands in Dash-8 Q-400 for "quiet", which means that passengers can immerse themselves in a more pleasant and quieter flight experience.
In addition to the new Hannover connections, Skyalps also offers flights to other German cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Kassel, whereby these routes are flown in two to three times a week.
The tickets can be booked in the Sky Basic or Sky Plus tariff, with the two options differ primarily from the permitted luggage amounts. Travelers are therefore well advised to book their flights early on to benefit from the new opportunities.
A look at the SkyAlps website is worthwhile for more information about the bookings and available connections. The topic of flying is twice exciting due to this sustainability strategy and increased connections, since travelers can now travel more easily from Lower Saxony to the mountainous regions of South Tyrol and Carinthia.
