Carinthia's economy in a boost: new ways for more exports and innovation!
In Carinthia, there are significant changes: the country's economic approach is increased sharply in order to ensure both competitiveness and export opportunities. State Councilor Sebastian Schuschnig and Chamber of Commerce President Jürgen Mandl have announced that the funding amount will be increased to three million euros to support the country's export -oriented businesses. Carinthia is one of the leading export locations in Austria with an annual export volume of over nine billion euros, on which more than 70,000 jobs are based. This commitment is all the more important in view of the current economic challenges, which are reinforced by bureaucracy and high energy costs, such as Klick-kaernten.
The state of Carinthia also relies on reforms in funding policy: 28.5 million euros are available to the Carinthian Business Development Fund (KWF) for the coming year. This increase in the budget, coupled with other funds from the federal and EU funds, enables total funding of around 38 million euros, which means about eleven million euros more than in the previous year. The number of funding applications has already increased noticeably-from January to November 1,890 applications were processed, an increase compared to the 913 applications in the previous year, such as kaerntner-wirtschaft.at . A new digital portal should make access to funding easier and make the application more efficient. In order to meet the needs of companies, the KWF wants to respond more to individual requirements. The newly initiated KWF fleet, which is under the motto "KWF on the road", aims at checking which support is required directly to the companies. "We want to create inquiries and not simply offer our products," emphasizes KWF board member Roland Waldner. This customer -oriented realignment could help to promote even more innovative projects in Carinthia. new priorities to promote the economy
