Christmas hustle and bustle: shopping night and Christkindlmarkt in Feldkirchen

In the Tiebelstadt Feldkirchen, the anticipation of the Christmas season is clearly noticeable. The Christkindlmarkt opens on November 29, which is waiting for numerous new attractions this year. Mayor Martin Meetner emphasizes the diversity of the offer: "The market is open to visitors for a total of 19 days and not only inspires many exhibitors, but also with a broad culinary offer." The local clubs will also present themselves and enrich the program with musical framing when opening the town hall advent calendar windows.

The children's offers have a special orientation this year. The team led by Martina Tscherne, which works in city marketing, plans to have fairy tales staged in various locations in the city. "Christmas is a children's topic," says Tscherne and would like to further expand the offer in the coming years. There will be the opportunity for the little visitors to write letters in the Christkind post office, which of course are then also answered. Particularly exciting: ten of these desired letters will come true with support.

shopping night as an opening

The solemn starting shot is given on November 29, during which the shops are open until 10 p.m. This special opportunity is supplemented by an enchanting crib path that leads through the city center. In the newly designed crib building school in Bahnhofstrasse, a crèche exhibition will also be visited. Local companies take care of participation in various accents by making their prices available as part of the "Rubbelt" campaign, the great draw of which will take place on December 23 at 6 p.m. at the Christkindlmarkt.

The festive atmosphere is also enriched by the Christkindl workshop & post office, which will be open during the Christkindlmarkt in the university of applied sciences and in the book hut. Another highlight for children and families will be a visit to the Santa Claus on December 6th at 3 p.m. at the Christkindlmarkt. There is also an exciting Tiebeltaler campaign on December 7th, as well as the Krampus run and the subsequent Krampus party, which will also take place on December 7th at 5 p.m.

The city of Feldkirchen has set itself the goal of offering visitors an unforgettable Christmas season that combines both tradition and new experiences. More information about the events are available on the official website of the city
