Award of honor: St. Pölten honors 42 outstanding personalities!

On April 29, 2025, a ceremonial ceremony took place in the country house in St. Pölten, with the governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner presented a total of 42 honor. The award comprises 32 honor for merits for Lower Austria, 4 professional titles and 3 honorary signs of services to the Republic of Austria and 3 Federal Medal Center. The planned measures include a health plan with 50 experts to improve health care, a childcare offensive for better reconciling family and work and an export offensive to strengthen the economy. Mikl-Leitner emphasized that every second euro in the state is earned by export and that every fifth job depends on it.

In the near future, an business delegation from Lower Austria will travel to Expo to Japan to make international contacts and to underline the importance of the country as an export location. Dr. Michael Schwarz, Honorary President of the Lower Austria Bar Association, spoke on behalf of the honored and thanked for the recognition that they were assigned to them.

The honorary honor for merits around the state of Lower Austria is the most important honor after the country's honorary ring and is awarded by the Lower Austrian state government.
