Steam locomotive MH.1 celebrates anniversary: a festival for the whole family!
Gmünd, Österreich - On May 27, 2025, the historical steam locomotive MH.1, after a comprehensive repair in the German Steam Cycle Werk Meiningen, returns to its location. This steam locomotive, which dates from 1906, becomes ready for use again for the anniversary "125 years of Gmünd - Litschau" and is considered a cultural asset. The locomotive was completely disassembled and overtaken, with numerous old parts being replaced. This includes smoke and heating pipes, the fire box and bearings.
