Burggasse 13, 4600 Wels, Österreich - The castle garden in Wels, known for its more beautiful green areas, shines in new splendor after comprehensive renovation work. From June 5, 2025, the garden, located at Burggasse 13, will be the scene of a summer concert series, which starts with 13 concerts every Thursday evening.

The opening concert also celebrates the 100th birthday of the Wels railway music association (EMC) and promises a special highlight with over 100 actors and musicians. As part of this event, the play "The Dream of an Austrian Reservist" by Carl Michael Zieher is performed. It tells the story of a village smith that experiences his soldier's time in a dream. Directed by Franz Strasser and Wolfgang Homar is responsible for the musical direction. The evening ends with the big tap, a military tradition that crowns the start.
