Farewell concert in Seitingen-surfache: a Europe firmly full of music

On December 7th, a special event will be celebrated in the region: The anniversary year, which marks the ten-year cooperation between the Musikvereine Seitingen-Flacht, Rietheim-Weilheim and Wurmlingen, is coming to an end. In spring, the youth orchestra applied to the Baden-Württemberg State Association for participating in the Euro Musique Festival in the Europapark. The positive feedback on this was not only joy, but also an enormous boost of motivation among the members of the orchestra.

Under the motto "Europe", a varied concert program was rehearsed, which was proudly presented in the European Park Rust. In addition, another highlight was followed by "Blasmusik am Schloss" in Wurmlingen, where well -known melodies by John Williams, Michael Jackson and The Monkees were performed.

The upcoming concert in Seitingen-Superflacht has twice the meaning. It not only marks the final event of this eventful year, but also the farewell to the conductor Silvia Hermerschmidt, which the youth orchestra has managed since 2019. Their commitment and musical leadership have decisively shaped the ensemble. The organizers are currently looking for a successor who can take over the management of this talented orchestra.
