On Sunday evening, serious fire incidents were reported in two German cities. In Zagersdorf and Chemnitz, fire brigades fought against aggressive flames that moved several garages in flames and sometimes caused severe damage.

According to the orf Burgenland the garage was in full fire, but the emergency services prevented the fire on the adjacent residential building. Unfortunately, the fire smoke drains ensured that the roof of the garage partially collapsed. A total of five fire departments with 14 vehicles and 85 members were on site to extinguish the fire. The amount of the damage incurred is currently still unclear.
