As a coach, Sascha Stocker takes over the SC Herz Pinkafeld in crisis
The SC Herz Pinkafeld has signed a new head coach with Sascha Stocker. He succeeds Rainer Pein, who left the team at the end of last season. At a time when the club is in the bottom of the Burgenland League, you hope for fresh ideas and new impulses to get out of the sporting crisis.
Sascha Stocker, the 38-year-old coach from Söchau, brings extensive experience to the team. Previously, he was active as a player at the SK Fürstenfeld before entering the coaching business in 2013. There he initially worked as an assistant coach and trainer at SK Fürstenfeld and later gained experience as an assistant coach and video analyst at SV Licht Loidl Lafnitz in the second Bundesliga. After two years there he returned to his home club in 2022 as head coach and sports director.
Hope for a restart
In his function as a sports director,Stocker was significantly involved in the obligation to commit essential regular players and implemented a game idea that he continued to this day. "He built up a reputation in Lafnitz and Fürstenfeld," says Mario Windhofer, chairman of SC Herz Pinkafeld. Ultimately, there was an opportunity for Stocker to work as an assistant coach at the ASK Voitsberg, which could no longer be reconciled with his professional and private life due to the intensive requirements. About four weeks ago he decided to end his task there.
As a married and two -time family man, Stocker also brings the necessary stability to his new office. Windhofer confidently comments on the possibilities that Stocker offers the team: "We are optimistic that we can create the restart with Sascha. His positive attitude, motivation and expertise convinced us." The hope is that he can lead the team through the remaining six games of the autumn season.
"Our environment knows Sascha perfectly. It was therefore quick, and we were very enthusiastic about his positive attitude despite the difficult situation!"
Sascha Stocker himself expressed a positive statement about the discussions that he led with the club management: "From the beginning I had a good feeling and see great potential both in the family environment and the team. I am convinced that we will find the way back to success together." The fans are called up to support the team in this important phase while the club wants to look into the inspiring future.
