Pinkafeld musical actress Anna Bauer: A dream comes true

The talented Anna Bauer from Pinkafeld has fulfilled a dream with her commitment in the musical "Rock Me Amadeus - The Falco Musical". Just recently she completed her training in the Performing Center Austria and is now in the spotlight after the musical celebrated its world premiere in October 2023 and will be resumed in the Ronacher in Vienna in September 2024.

In an open conversation with Meinbezer Oberwart Anna her experiences and the path that she has covered so far. She discovered her passion for dancing, acting and singing in childhood. Driven by the support of her family, she started early in various dance and theater courses. These experiences laid the foundation for her subsequent activities in the Musical & Stage Dance Company in Pinkafeld, where she was active to her Matura.

The way to the big stage

After completing the Wimmer Gymnasium, Anna decided to continue musical training in Vienna, as there were no suitable opportunities in Burgenland. The Performing Center Austria is one of the best training centers for musical actors in Austria. Her decision to go there was associated with challenges because she had to go into a new and exciting environment.

An essential component in Anna's career was the musical company, in which she learned numerous valuable skills and developed her stage presence. "It was just great to play, sing and dance in front of people," she says. Her training made it possible for her to feel good on stage and find a freedom that she lives out in her art.

The task that Anna took over in the "Rock Me Amadeus" is that of a "swing". This means that she can take different roles, depending on whether another ensemble member fails. She describes it as a great challenge to have the different roles and their requirements in mind.

The premiere of this mostly expected musical took place on September 14th and the previous performances were overwhelmed, according to Anna. "The audience was enthusiastic," she says proudly. The ensemble consists of a group of talented performers who warmly welcomed you and with which the rehearsals and performances are great fun.

Although Anna has already settled into the musical world, she plans to continue to apply for other roles and also look for opportunities outside of Vienna. In one of her next projects it could also be a role in the popular musical "Rebecca", especially the figure of the Mrs. Danvers did it.

Your way to music and theater is an inspiring example of how passion and support from relatives can have a major impact on professional career. The feedback that Anna receives for her work confirms that she is on the right track - and that is only the beginning of her promising career. In a few years, maybe a musical could even come on stage about her life, with the title "Das Bauermädl" - an amusing piece with many Austrian elements.

Anna Baur's history shows how dreams can become a reality if you work hard and have the right support at your side. The musical "Rock Me Amadeus" runs until June 2025 and Anna is looking forward to every single performance.
