November 24, 2024 will certainly remain in the memories of many families, because on this day Alpakas took place in Lindgraben in the Sonnenland. From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors flocked to the site to experience the festive atmosphere that was filled with radiant lights, happy children's laughter and the tempting fragrance of mulled wine.

An adventure for the whole family awaited everyone who visited the market. A lot was offered, especially for the children: a handmade light path kidnapped them through a magical winter landscape and at a craft station the young guests were able to create their own Christmas ornaments. The face painting was another highlight, where the little visitors were transformed into imaginative figures, while the gingerbread bakery workshop provided additional joy-here the little hobby bakers could be creative.

But that wasn't all! In a special area, the children were even able to write a personal letter to the Christ child - a very special experience for many. The market atmosphere was enriched by the presence of regional exhibitors, which presented a wide range from handmade Christmas gifts to culinary specialties. A very special attraction was the alpacalads, which offered high-quality processed Alpaka wool products.

fervent mulled wine and punch stands were very popular with the adults, especially when the weather was cold. These drinks ensured a little warmth and additional pleasure on this pre -Christmas day.

A special guest: Author Jennifer Böhm

Another highlight of the event was the visit of the well -known author Jennifer Böhm from Weppersdorf, who had won the coveted books (dreams) of 2024 with her book "Like a Lion in the Storm". She took the opportunity to chat with the guests and present her excellent work, which gave the Advent magic an additional cultural dimension.

The entrance fee of 10 euros per child was a small investment in an unforgettable experience that inspired both the children and the parents. The Advent magic in the Sonnenland Alpakas has impressively demonstrated how a regional event can not only shine through lights, but also through community, joy and emotions.
