New workloads for Ukrainians in Burgenland through the Ready to Start project
A new project for Ukrainians on the labor market ensures positive developments in Burgenland. Under the lead motif "Ready to Start", the Vamos association and the labor market service (AMS) jointly launched a program that aims to facilitate well -trained women from Ukraine.
A remarkable success story is Anastasia Tomascherska, a former teacher from Ukraine who is now working in Burgenland at “Little Hearts” in childcare. The career of Irina Kaschevarova, a trained civil engineer who is now working in the kitchen of the Vamos association, is just as gratifying.
The program not only offers Anastasia Kmets, a marketing specialist, professional perspectives, but also enabled its spouse a new job. The head of the AMS, Karin Steiner, emphasizes the importance of the project, Ukrainian women to open opportunities on the labor market. The participants are encouraged by internships and workshops to explore their skills and try out in different areas.
The initiative, which is accompanied personally by the managing director of the Vamos Association, Rene Höfer, has already achieved impressive results. All participants of the first round were successfully integrated into training or into the labor market. The "Ready to Start" project is even nominated for the Austrian Integration Award.
These positive developments clearly show the value and importance of integration programs for Ukrainians on the labor market in Burgenland. Further details about the project and its effects can be found on Burgenland.orf.at.
