new disposable deposit system and changes in the waste system
A central theme of the workshop was the upcoming switch to the disposable deposit system and the introduction of a new collective method in the "yellow sack", which will come into force from January 1, 2025. These changes are part of the efforts to sustainably improve waste management in the region. Mr. König explained that it was important to inform people about these innovations to ensure flowing implementation.
The workshop was not only important for the children. On the same evening, the adults of the community were invited to learn more about the topic. The planned changes were presented in detail in a lecture. This shows how important it is that all generations are involved when it comes to environmental issues.
The Neuberg elementary school made a valuable contribution to environmental education through this event. Such initiatives promote environmental protection and deal with the challenges of modern waste management.
