Great challenges and solutions for Burgenland: Norbert Hofer's clear views
Not present at the event were state party chairman Alexander Petschnig and club boss Johann Tschürtz. These two politicians will take part in appointments in their respective districts. Norbert Hofer, the top candidate of the FPÖ, criticized the political landscape during the event. He complained that politics was mainly disputed in politics, although there were great challenges. One criticism was, for example, the situation in Viennese schools in which children of the language of instruction could not follow. Hofer attributed this to the fact that too many people were given the opportunity to live here. He also emphasized that former German Chancellor Angela Merkel Europe had caused serious damage.
In 2015, 180,000 people, mainly young men, crossed the border without taking the appropriate measures, not even on the part of the then Burgenland State Police Director Hans Peter Doskozil. The FPÖ, according to Hofer, stands for the necessary hardness and presentation approaches. So he suggested that the financial support be made to contain immigration. In addition, he proposed the establishment of asylum centers in green environments and joked the use of the Hofburg for this purpose.
A core claim of Holders was the creation of reasonably paid jobs, especially in the state south. It emphasized the importance of good transport connections, broadband expansion, security and qualitative health care and care. Despite planned hospitals in Oberwart and Gols, he drew attention to the lack of specialist staff in these facilities. Hofer also critically commented on the announced electricity price guarantee by Governor Doskozil.
Furthermore, Hofer criticized the ÖVP, especially after the "Ibiza" incidents of 2019. He reported that the ÖVP had signaled him at the time that he could become vice chancellor, but Herbert Kickl had to go. Hofer emphasized that he was not the closest friend of Kickl, but still rejected his dismissal. He accused the ÖVP an "unemployed" behavior after the National Council election and warned of a possible Vice Chancellor Andreas Babler, who was a self -confessed Marxist. Hofer spoke out against Austria's accession and emphasized the importance of neutrality. At the end of his speech, he underlined the joy of being back in Burgenland.
