Active solidarity: 1,000 euros for Volkshilfe Burgenland

The company sport of the Chamber of Labor (AK) and the Austrian Trade Union Confederation (ÖGB) Burgenland has again demonstrated its support for Volkshilfe. As part of a darts tournament in Eisenstadt, a generous donation of 1,000 euros was handed over, which will benefit the "Burgenland gives" campaign.

AK President Gerhard Michalitsch and ÖGB state secretary Andreas Rotpuller were pleased that participation in the darts tournament not only enabled sporting success, but also the opportunity to support children in need. "We are pleased that the donation box at the AK-ÖGB operating sports tournament has become full again and that we children can give children a nice Christmas," said Michalitsch and Rotpuller.
