Mayor criticizes too narrow doors: Problem with the update hall!
In the small community of Strobl, an unexpected problem has occurred: the doors to the local update hall were planned with a narrow width of only 86 centimeters. This is reported by the "Upper Austrian News" (OÖN). Mayor Harald Humer explained that this width would have been technically theoretically enough to bring a coffin, but only with great difficulties. "It would have turned out, but only if you pushed in at the back. It would simply not have been practical and is not handled anywhere else," he added. In an inspection, this defect became clear, which was apparently overlooked when planning.
instead of removing the doors, which would have caused high costs, the municipality decided to incorporate an additional door with a passage of 1.35 meters width, which would probably cost a low five -digit amount. The inappropriate door dimensions represent a practical problem that has not yet been taken into account in this form, which illustrates the need to check the portability of building entrances with regard to the implementation of burials.
