Architecture in dialogue: Graz calls for creative participation!
Graz, Österreich - The GRAZ by June 30th. Selected projects will then be integrated into the annual program of the HDA from 2026. Particularly noteworthy is the joint development of financing options with the submitted, since the HDA itself does not receive a multi -year funding. New wind in the house of architecture
With a new management team that has been in office since October 1, 2024, the HDA wants to bring a breath of fresh air to architecture promotion. Zerina Džubur takes over the program management, while Karin Oberhuber holds the operational management. Both bring extensive networks in the architectural scene, which should further support the proactive opening of the HDA for architectural workers and interested parties. The vision includes the development of a wide range of annual programs in cooperation with various actors of the architecture community.
An essential part of the new approach is the introduction of a six -member advisory board from 2025, which will support the management in program development and operational questions. The members of this advisory board are top -class, including representatives of the state of Styria, the Technical University of Graz as well as well -known architects and architectural sociologists. This illustrates the HDA's endeavor to promote the dialogue about architecture and urban development in the region and to set international standards.
focus on the Austrian architectural scene
The 2025 program will focus on the Austrian architectural scene and is designed to bring players of different generations together, including students and established architects. A newly designed lecture format entitled "World Wide Wisdom" should expand the discourse and offer different perspectives on the topic of architecture and urban development.
The HDA shows this offensive as a catalyst for exchange and networking within the architectural community and strengthens Graz and Styria as an internationally recognized architectural city. With these changes, the HDA is not only perceived as an event location, but also as an active center for ideas and innovative projects, which meets the treasure of architectural knowledge and cultural -historical relevance of the region.
