Arapovic fights for better schools: Neos top candidate in Spotlight!

Wien, Österreich - Selma Arapovic is the top candidate of the NEOS for the Vienna election on April 27, 2025. In a current Wordrap published by Vienna.at, she describes her goals and visions for the future of Viennese education policy and for the quality of life in the city. Arapovic wants to think primarily of the needs of her children, and has firmly decided to fight especially for good schools and comprehensive education during the election campaign.

"I hope for a better result than in 2020," said Arapovic in an interview. Their goal is to give up the upcoming election and celebrate the election success together with the NEOS. Education as a central concern

A central concern of Arapovic is the Viennese promise of education, which is committed to equal opportunities for all children and adolescents, regardless of school choice, place of residence, origin, mother tongue, parent profession and income. This education initiative was presented by Neos-Bildrat Councilor Christoph Return two years ago and aims to enable everyone to get a social rise.

The Viennese promise of education starts at ten elementary and middle schools in Vienna and focuses on the support of the schools with various challenges. Particular attention is paid to students: inside, teachers: inside and parents. This comprehensive initiative should enable everyone to qualify for a self -determined life and to improve opportunities in the field of education.

But not only political issues concern Arapovic. It also has a reference to the beautiful pages of Vienna and, among other things, enjoys the view from Leopoldsberg and the Brigittenauer Bridge. Her favorite subway line is the U1 and her favorite place for a coffee break is found in the Pückel coffee house.
