Waizenkirchen, Österreich - The Weyer Pensioners' Association has given its members a festive experience! On December 6th, the seniors traveled to the atmospheric Advent market in Weinberg Castle in Kefermarkt, where Christmas anticipation was in the air. Another highlight took place two days later: a big meeting at the Gasthaus Lehner in Gaflenz, which turned out to be a perfect start into the Christmas season. In addition to numerous members, Chairman Walter Hopf also welcomed Mayor Gerhard Klaffner and Vice Mayor Leopold Buchriegler. This solemn occasion was framed with musical performances by the "Troadkosn Musi", while dialect poet Josef "Sepp" Carbonari performed humorous and contemplative poems that received great applause, as meinzirk.at reported.

As part of the celebration, Mayor Klaffner and Hopf wished those present a Merry Christmas and a particularly healthy year 2025. To support the festive mood, the members were invited to a traditional Wiener Schnitzerl. So the afternoon could end in a convivial atmosphere and in lively conversations.
