Princess Madeleine brings gentle care for children on the market!
Princess Madeleine of Sweden will bring her own skin care stark onto the market together with the renowned Swiss natural cosmetics brand Weleda. The new brand bears the name Minlen and is aimed particularly at children and adolescents. This target group often uses cosmetic products early, but often does not have the right options available.
The princess has put the sensitivity of the children's skin in the foreground in the development of the brand and emphasizes how important it is to treat this skin with care. Minlen products are designed to combine natural ingredients and pleasant scents and therefore come in a child -friendly packaging. Apart from the attractive designs, the products also want to offer effective care that supports the skin protection barrier.
product details and market launch
The mint range will include a variety of products, including face cream, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, lip care and body oil. The prices for these products will be between 10 and 30 euros. The market launch is planned for September 2025, initially in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden. Sales are carried out via Weleda web shops, perfumeries, department stores and selected e-commerce platforms and pharmacies in Scandinavia.
Princess Madeleine and the Weleda cosmetics brand have been working on the development of this new umbrella brand since January 2024. The name Minlen consists of the Swedish words "my" (min) and "soft" (len), whereby "len" is also a nickname of the princess. This not only reflects the personal connection of the princess to the products, but also emphasizes the commitment to create safe and gentle care products that are specially tailored to the needs of babies, children and young adults.
a premiere for the royal family
The cooperation with Weleda is a novelty because a member of a royal family is involved in such a project for the first time. Tina Müller, the CEO of Weleda, underlined the importance of the project and described the need for a safe and reliable alternative for children. Princess Madeleine, the daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, not only dresses a royal position, but also studied art history, ethnology and child psychology, which underlines her passion for safe child supply products.
The Minlen products should give parents the certainty that they can choose high -quality and healthy care products for their children. The range lies in the traditional Swedish philosophy of "Lagom", which stands for balance and "just right", which is particularly important in family care.
With a view to the future, an expansion of the range is also planned. Additional sun protection products are planned for the 2026 season, which will continue to round off the offer for the little ones. Due to the high quality of the products and the cooperation with the traditional Weleda brand, Minlen will certainly represent a competitive product in the field of natural cosmetics for children and adolescents.
This development not only fits into the current trend towards natural and trustworthy care products, but also positions Sweden as a pioneer in the field of child -friendly cosmetics.
