Innovative energy cheeky in Traunstein invites you to a career evening!
Herzog-Friedrich-Straße, Traunstein, Deutschland - Kumandra Energy, an engineering office and a focus on sustainable energy solutions, invites you to a career evening. This will take place on January 16, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in her offices on Herzog-Friedrich-Straße in Traunstein and is aimed at potential employees and customers. The company supports industrial and commercial customers in photovoltaic and energy storage projects and offers comprehensive project support from the idea to implementation.
The range of services from Kumandra Energy includes the development of innovative energy concepts, project implementation and long-term operating management, whereby the project volume is up to 300,000 euros and is only located in the B2B area. Customers include commercial and industrial customers, farmers, citizens' energy cooperatives and public clients. The company's technical expertise focuses on optimizing the use of self-electricity in photovoltaic roof systems and the implementation of AGRI PV, which combines agricultural use with energy generation.
innovative approaches in the Agri-Photovoltaic
In the course of the Agri-Photovoltaic initiatives, the RWE is planning a project for simultaneous energy generation and agriculture in the Rhenish area together with the Jülich research center. The demonstration system is to be built on a recultivation area at the Garzweiler lignite mine and have a size of approx. 7 hectares. The project is funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia via the program Programs.nrw and pursues the goal of reaching the climate goals in Germany.
The technical potential of the AGRI PV is estimated by Fraunhofer ISE to up to 2,900 gigawatts (GWP) in Germany. This innovative solution opens up synergies between power generation and food production by protecting plants of excessive sunlight and hail, which in turn increases the income. Water that runs from the PV modules can also be used for irrigation. Katja Wüschel from RWE emphasizes the need to check suitable cultures and PV systems and proposes his own tender segment in the Renewable Energy Sources Act to support innovative technologies.
As part of the larger demonstration project, various design variants and plant growth strategies are to be tested. The planned concept comprises three different approaches for the installation of the solar modules: solid and vertically mounted, tracked horizontally and automatically and increased on a pergola-like construction. The planned capacity of the demonstration system is about 3 megawatt peak. Implementation should begin in the summer of 2023 if the necessary permits are granted.
