Art show conservice sexy brings a breath of fresh air to Hanau!
in Hanau, an extraordinary art show will take place under the title "Conservartive Sexy" from October 11th to 26th. This initiative is carried out by three talented artists from the region and aims to revitalize the art scene around the Hanau port. The venue is the Freihafen gallery, which has been known for creative projects and cultural events since its opening in 2017. The artists who design this exhibition are Joscha David Moreth, Robie and Runa Rosina Menges, who want to entertain with a mixture of humor and socially critical topics.
The Freihafen gallery, part of the KUZ Hanau e.V. association, has developed into an important center for socio -cultural projects. In recent years, the demand for innovative art exhibitions has risen sharply, which also provided inspiration for the “Conservard Sexy” show. The initiator Nicole Harth emphasizes that the idea is to bring different creative minds together and offer a varied program.
The exhibited works and artists
Joscha David Moreth brings his stubborn, humorous and socially critical works to the gallery. Originally from Wiesbaden, he has lived in Hanau since childhood. In addition to his work, he is also active as a music creative and part of the artist collective Atelier Escape. Moreth not only shows pictures, but also learned to tattoo what extends his artistic horizon.
Another highlight of the exhibition is Robie, a figure, renowned in the comic scene. He was awarded the culture award of the Main-Kinzig district in 2021 and presents a collection of his profound comic works, which always tell a captivating story. His ability to tell through pictures makes his works particularly appealing for visitors.
The third artist is Runa Rosina Menges, a graduate designer with a conclusion from the University of Design in Offenbach. For the exhibition, she has put together a number of works that accompany visitors on an emotional journey with a strong focus on the topic of the Frausein. Your works include painting, drawing and sculpture and leaving a lot of space for individual interpretations.
The official opening of the exhibition takes place on Friday, October 11th at 7 p.m. and is accompanied by a special event. City Councilor Beate Funck has promised her coming, and the event is accompanied by "Djane Nora", known from the series "Songs before The Deaf", with an indie disco. In order to reinforce the mood, a red carpet is also designed and black light effects ensure a special atmosphere.
The exhibition is not only limited to the opening. A varied program awaits visitors: On Saturday, October 12th, Live Performer Torstn Kauke will hang up from 4 p.m. and represent its mixture of electronics, punk and ambient. A midissage on October 19 should offer visitors the opportunity to get to know the artists better; Robsie Richter will read with his punk rock-poet style between the works of art and set literary impulses.
The crowning conclusion of the show is the finissage on October 26, when "New Normal" appears to the musical finale and framed the works of art with its unique sounds. The aim is to create an acoustic fireworks that inspires the senses of those present.
parallel to the exhibition, workshops take place as part of the open studio Sunday workshops, in which art lovers have the opportunity to learn linol printing. Here the principle of "First come, first serve" is very important. So visitors have the chance to actively immerse yourself in the creative world.
Martin Hoppe, head of the culture in Hanau, emphasizes how important it is to make culture accessible and tangible for everyone. This fits particularly with the philosophy of the exhibition, which aims to question social conventions with a playful approach. Runa Rosina Menges also emphasizes the importance of experiencing art and that laughter and reflection should be promoted.
Joscha David Moreth and Raubie are enthusiastic about the opportunity to present their works to a wide audience and are excited about the reactions to "Conservard Sexy". The art show is an invitation to everyone to rediscover the world of art and to artistically expand its own perspectives. Art as an experience space that knows no boundaries and offers space for individuality and creativity - that is the promise of this special event.
