Dark goings-on in the beauty clinic: Fehnker Spoaßmakers laugh until the end!

The Fehnker Spoaßmakers acting ensemble is intensively preparing for the premiere of a new stage program. In Wiesmoor the viewer is taken to a mysterious beauty clinic that is full of colorful and not always trustworthy characters. The Low German comedy “Jubel, Hustle, Vanity in the Beauty Clinic” by Winni Abel will be performed, which illuminates the complex relationships between patients and doctors in three acts.

A look into the action

The story revolves around Moritz Engel, a charming marriage con, played by Menno Willms. Through his fraudulent dealings, he has gotten involved with the daughter of a wealthy snack chain owner, which gets him into a lot of trouble. To escape the wrath of his pursuers, who turn out to be contract killers, Moritz seeks refuge in a reputable beauty clinic. Here he meets a colorful mix of patients, including an eccentric artist and a millionaire lady with special wishes.

The surgeon Roland Meister, played by Erich Wallmann, has great ambitions and wants to advance his career with prominent clientele. But his thoughtless actions lead to a botched operation that endangers the clinic's entire reputation. The focus is now on numerous intrigues and mishaps as Moritz tries to win over the rich millionaire, while at the same time old acquaintances appear in the waiting room and bring new fuel.

Performances begin every Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m.; On Sundays the clinic opens its doors at 7 p.m. A special highlight is the seniors' performance on November 10th, for which tea and cake are also served. Thanks to the informal atmosphere created by the tea time service, visitors can enjoy the piece in a relaxed setting.
