The Berlin International Film Festival, known as the Berlinale, is about to change! How ZVW reported that tickets for major premieres at the Berlinale Palast will be two euros more expensive. Tuttle also announced that the 2024 Berlinale will take place from February 13th to 23rd and plans to make the offering more attractive to young viewers.

New venues near the Berlinale Palast are planned for 2025, including a new cinema in the Stage Bluemax Theater that will accommodate 500 spectators. This cinema will play a central role in the newly launched “Perspectives” competition. In addition, the Berlinale HUB75 will serve as an important place for meetings and exchanges during the festival in order to properly celebrate the 75th edition. The plans are also a response to the reduction in cinema capacity at Potsdamer Platz in recent years and represent a significant step into the future.
