Drama in Dreieich! On Saturday afternoon, exactly at 1:08 p.m., there was an almost catastrophic traffic accident at the intersection of An der Trift and Darmstädter Straße. A driver ignored the right of way head-on, creating a tense moment! The police officers patrolling there had to watch as a Renault driver, who turned in front of them without paying attention to the oncoming car, brutally violated the right-of-way rule.
It's a miracle there wasn't a crash! A collision could only be averted with a daring braking maneuver by the correctly driving vehicle. But that wasn't all - the police were right there! The officers stopped the Renault and set up a traffic stop. During the inspection, the fact that the driver was heavily under the influence of intoxicants caused additional shock.
