In the night from Sunday to Monday there was a dramatic incident on Känerbergstrasse when a vehicle team, consisting of a Mercedes Vito and a trailer, overwhelmed a 34-year-old woman. At 00:30 a.m. the team parked in the direction of Försterstrasse when the accident suddenly occurred after leaving the vehicle. Suddenly the car started to move!
With unstoppable strength, the team rolled down the mountain. The trailer swung to the side, collided with the towing vehicle and turned wildly before it crashed into a house wall. In this chaos, the 34-year-old, who had previously been sitting in the Mercedes, was seriously injured and was helpless under the vehicle. An ambulance hurried on the spot and immediately brought the woman to the district clinic, where she is now in medical treatment.

The police have started the investigation to find out why the woman got under the vehicle and whether technical defects of the team are responsible for the catastrophic accident. The Siegen Traffic Commissioner has its target and ensured the vehicle. During the accident recording, Känerbergstrasse was completely closed , which significantly impaired traffic. Witnesses report a chaotic scenario with quick use of rescue workers.
