At 9:20 a.m., the officials stopped a Volvo with a Lithuanian license plate on Düsseldorfer Straße/Südring and discovered a shocking number of technical defects. The truck not only had violent oil leakage on the engine and gearbox, but also unsightly rust stations on the body that made it a danger on the streets.

After the initial control, the 26 -year -old truck was brought to Ratingen for an in -depth examination for an expert. There, the entire extent of the dangers revealed itself: a serious deficiency in the brake system and a brake drum, which had been broken out partly on the rear axle and had literally wedged! A clear sign that this truck was definitely not safe. The immediate deletion of the operating license was the consequence!
