The first perpetrator put pressure on the victim by pushing him against a board and pulling a silver revolver from his back pocket. With the barrel of the gun aimed at the victim's chest, he demanded his money. Meanwhile, the second perpetrator stayed nearby and observed the surroundings. When the passenger explained that he only had 40 euros with him, the main perpetrator let go of him. When they arrived in Bruchsal, the two perpetrators left the train and disappeared in an unknown direction.
