Rapid raid: police complain every fourth truck!

The police achieved a shocking result last week during a Europe -wide control of heavy goods traffic! From November 11th to 17th, the trucks were the focus of the civil servants, and the balance sheet is alarming: Almost every fourth grumbling was noticeable due to considerable violations!

Over 160 vehicles were carefully examined and the data are explosive: there were complaints with a total of 35 vehicles. The police counted 63 different violations - a true extent of disregard for the rules! With 16 cases, speed violations were only the tip of the iceberg. In 17 other cases, serious technical defects were found, whereby five of these defects were so serious that the drivers were no longer allowed to continue.

It is particularly frightening that in two cases the drivers themselves were under drugs while steering the heavy trucks. The inspectors did not shy away: they reimbursed advertisements and also prohibited the journey here. These controls are not only important, they are absolutely necessary to ensure security on our streets. The results show impressively that a lot still has to be done in heavy goods traffic!
