A dramatic hiding game on the streets of Rüsselsheim occurred late Thursday evening when a 43-year-old tried to escape police control. In Walter-Flex-Straße, the brave officials carried out a speed control as part of the "Südhessen flashes" campaign. Among the 40 measured vehicles, eight drivers were apparently not ready to adhere to the clear speed limit of 30 km/h and were stopped.

The 43-year-old chose a risky escape. When viewing the police forces, he shot away with his car, ignored the clearly visible stop and accelerated with full force. But the police were close to his heels! Completely surprised by his own courage, he was finally caught up and stopped. During the check, it turned out that all action was not without reason - the Rüsselsheimer had no valid driver's license! His escape ended abruptly when criminal complaint was immediately filed against him due to driving without a driver's license.

The consequences

The cards are now mixed for the prevented racer. After his preliminary arrest, he now has to answer for his collar at speed, but also for driving without the necessary papers. Another shocking case that shows how quickly the situation on the street can change when the police are on hand!
