A dramatic traffic accident shocked the quiet street between Anhausen and Rüscheid on Monday evening! At 8:23 p.m., police were alerted when a 56-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle. With a road rage, he was racing along the L258 when disaster stared him right in the eye: he missed a road divider and slammed into it. The impact was violent, sending him flying across the road and landing on an adjacent hillside. The scenery couldn't have been more dramatic!

Alcohol involved!

But what the police discovered when investigating the accident was even more shocking! The driver was visibly under the weather and exuded an intense smell of alcohol. As if that wasn't enough, a breath alcohol test carried out showed an astonishing level of over 2 per thousand! A value that should ring alarm bells for everyone. A blood sample was immediately taken and his driver's license was confiscated to prevent further danger on the road.
