Treaty resolved: Ferdy Druijf leaves SK Rapid Vienna!

The striker Ferdy Druijf, known from the Austrian Bundesliga, has experienced a surprising career gymnastics. As the SK Rapid announced on Wednesday, its contract, which was valid by 2025, was resolved by mutual agreement. This decision comes almost three years after the 26-year-old moved to Hütteldorf. Due to a serious knee injury, which he ran in the Eredivisie during his loan, Druijf has not been in use for almost a year. This means that the 1.90 meter tall player is without a club for the first time.
According to a press release from Rapid thanks, SPORT, Markus Katzer, the Dutch for his achievements: "I would like to thank him for his important goals and his fighting spirit in the dress of the SK Rapid." The loss for Rapid, which was dependent on Druijf's creative skills and danger, becomes particularly painful. During his time at Rapid, Druijf scored a total of 13 goals in 43 competitive games, which often led to important points.

Ferdy Druijf was born on February 12, 1998 in Uitgeest, the Netherlands, and is an experienced footballer who played for the U20 national team of the Netherlands. FC Uitgeest started his career, later he switched to AZ, where he played in various rental shops, among other things, to NEC and mechels. In February 2022 he finally came to Rapid Vienna on loan before receiving a fixed contract in July 2022.
