Shiffrin dominates in Levi: ninth victory and 102nd World Cup title!
On November 15, 2025, Mikaela Shiffrin triumphed in the first slalom of the season in Levi, securing her ninth victory in this ski region. With this success she increased her total number of World Cup victories to an impressive 102, including 65 in slalom. Shiffrin, who has become one of the most dominant athletes in alpine skiing over the years, once again set a benchmark for her competition.

Second-placed Lara Colturi from Albania did not allow herself to be discouraged after being 1.66 seconds behind and reached the podium. Behind her, the German Emma Aicher finished third, 2.59 seconds behind the best. Shiffrin's performance put female skiers from other nations in the shade.
Austria's women in competition
The best Austrian was Katharina Liensberger, who took tenth place. After a difficult first round in which she was only in 14th place, she demonstrated her class in the second round. Her compatriots fared worse in the overall ranking, with Katharina Troupe and Katharina Huber finishing in 16th place. Lisa Hörhager followed in 23rd place, while Katharina Gallhuber took 24th place. Natalie Falch and Franziska Gritsch, however, were eliminated and did not qualify for the second round.
