New logistics center on Breckle site

On the former area of ​​the mattress manufacturer Breckle in the south industrial area in Northeim, the property was sold to I&G Immobilien GmbH & Co. KG. The managing directors of I&G Immobilien GmbH, Daniel Wenzel, Walter Päuer and Willi-Ingo Kreykenbohm, took part in the bidding process according to the bankruptcy and were awarded the contract for a "double-digit million amount". The construction of a logistics center is planned in the existing halls and the infrastructure.

The new logistics center is to create up to 50 jobs, and discussions with former Breckle employees are underway to get experienced workers back. Mayor Simon Hartmann welcomed the takeover by regional entrepreneurs and the city administration offered support to economically strengthen the region after the bankruptcy.

The industrial area in Northeim has established itself as the ideal location for logistics companies, especially due to the proximity to the A7 motorway. The official starting shot for the new logistics center should be taken on November 1st.
