Tax relief and child benefit: traffic light government plans through!

The traffic lights have agreed on an editorial agreement in the planned tax relief and the increase in child benefit, which is now to be decided quickly in the Bundestag. The Deutschlandfunk that the legislative project from the time of the traffic light government could be implemented before the upcoming new election in February. A center of the debate will be raised to raise child benefit by five euros to 255 euros per month. The Free Democratic Party (FDP) has formulated as a condition for its support that these measures may not result in new bureaucracy costs for companies. In order to put the law into force, however, the consent of both the Bundestag and the Federal Council is required. The sixth tax progression report is currently being treated as the basis for the discussion about the cold progression. As stated in the report of the Bundestag, these tax additional loads affect around 35.1 million taxpayers who are on average at around 273 euros.
