New entry regulations for the Museum Neuruppin

According to the new provisions that came into force on July 1, 2023, visitors can freely set their admission price between 0 and 10 euros inside. This was decided by the Fontanestadt city council to make it easier to access the cultural offers, as neuruppin.net . The flexible regulation enables the city's history and the exhibitions, including the current show of Emilie Fontane, which can be seen in the museum's old building until March 3, 2025, to make it accessible to a wider public.

The exhibition "Emilie200" illuminates the life of the wife of the famous writer Theodor Fontane, who also made significant cultural contributions in the 19th century. In particular, the often overlooked roles of women in society are discussed, which makes the exhibition particularly relevant and revealing. Another important event in the museum is the anniversary exhibition on the 10th anniversary of the Brandenburg Medical School, which will be opened on October 10, 2024.
