Together against violence: Horn Clinic shows civil courage in action!

HORN. As part of the international campaign “Orange the World”, the employees of the Horn State Hospital are sending a powerful signal against violence against women and for victim protection. This global initiative runs from November 25th to December 10th and focuses on the urgent issue of violence against women, one of the most common human rights violations. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), this is one of the greatest health risks. The campaign, which is supported by the Victim Protection Working Group of the Lower Austrian State Health Agency, aims to promote moral courage and show courage against violence, as [meinbezirk.at] reported.

To underline these important concerns, orange buttons were worn by employees to show solidarity with the victims. In addition, a police stand in the entrance area provided information about central topics such as victim protection and the importance of neighborly duty. Another aim of this campaign is to raise awareness among people to be vigilant in everyday life and to provide help in suspected cases. Training for staff and the distribution of information materials are also part of this important initiative, which involves close cooperation between the clinic and the police. This makes it clear that violence has no place in our society, as the [landesgesundheitsagentur.at] also emphasized.

Through this joint campaign, affected patients in the LK Horn will also be offered comprehensive support. The facility shows that it is actively committed to prevention and education so that those affected know who to turn to in emergency situations. The message is clear: civil courage and strong cooperation are essential to combat violence in all forms and to protect the rights of victims.
